Upload your content
Time to submit all your goodies into our shared Google Drive folder. This includes your branding assets, high-res photos, and written content.

Dream & design
I take all that delicious content, dream up your custom site and do the heavy lifting. We stay in communication to ensure we get all those details right.

Launch day!
The final touches and edits have been made, and we’re ready to launch your new baby into the world wide web space. Time to pop that bubbly!

Training
To ensure you know how to navigate your new site, we’ll sit down together (virtually) and I’ll show you around… it’s all yours!

Squarespace offers modern and professional looking templates, it’s user-friendly, and has competitive pricing. Ultimately, I want you to have a website platform that will last and is easy for you to navigate should you choose to maintain your website post launch.

Absolutely! And if you succeed, all the power to you! BUT - while I believe Squarepace is one of the best user-friendly website platforms to create your website (with some truly incredible ready-to-use templates), creating an entire custom website takes time, and for most people - that type of work just isn’t their jam. And that’s ok!
The same way I outsource my accounting (because while I COULD do it - it’s NOT my jam, and quite frankly, I just don’t want to do it,) don’t feel bad about outsourcing your website design.

Branding Elements - Most branding packages consist of a color palette, logo(s), watermark(s), backgrounds, typography and any illustrated or digital graphics.
Professional Photos - Professional photos lend to a polished website, and if I’m being honest, your customers will take you more seriously, too. PLUS, we want you looking your best when you share that unique idea of yours with the world.
Written Copy - Don’t stress out too much about this, I’ll provide you some stellar writing prompts, but start thinking about taglines, your About page (or your story that you’re wanting to share,) and the type of verbiage you want to see on your site.

No. I always recommend going to https://ca.godaddy.com/ to search for your preferred domain. PLUS they usually have sales on, which means more money savings for you!
Alternatively, you can keep everything in one place and seek out your domain directly within Squarespace.

Before I answer, for those of you wondering what the heck copywrite is - it’s the written content on your website. My answer to this question is yes and no. I provide stellar writing prompts in your Google Drive folder for you to start writing some of your own content. This has efficacy in a couple ways: 1) It gets you thinking about how you want to present yourself and your business to your customer, and 2) it gives me content to work with. With your permission, I take your content you’ve created, and I make changes as needed, and then implement that throughout the website. Copywrite is so personal to each individual, so I want to ensure I’m staying true to your voice.
The Design

No. I design the website on my own Squarespace account, then I’ll create you a Squarespace account (if you don’t already have one) and I transfer ownership to you.
When ownership is transferred to your account, I continue to be on the site as an administrator. This means I have access through my own Squarespace account should there be any changes to be made post-launch. You can remove as an administrator at your discretion.

All your content and goodies that we upload throughout the process will remain in your Google Drive folder for up to 6 months from creation date. After that I’ll email you to notify you that I’ll be deleting it and to ensure all files you wish to save are moved to another location (either on your own Google Drive or onto your computer.)

After launch, I’ll show you how to edit your own content. You’re the master of your own domain (literally!) And besides, not everyone has the budget to hire a designer on a monthly basis.
Don’t want to edit your own content? Not to worry - I’m here for my clients that don’t have the time, or simply don’t want to maintain their sites. You’re a busy person with more important things to focus on.
